Long ass Update

darkdragonoftheneverI hate my internet. That said, it's been in and out all weekend and finally seems to have some stability tonight. Hopefully I didn't just jinx it. So, ultra long update is in store for you. Luckily, It's nice and neat in LJ-cut format. Don't you all feel lucky you get to read something instead of...well...doing something more productive.
Then again, it's fun to see what people have been doing while not on the computer, ne?
The Weekend Suckage
Well, work was sucky as usual. But Saturday had to be the worst of it all. Friday we were kinda dead because of the 'impending snow storm' that hit east/south of us instead of right on top of us. Still got around four extra inches on top of a ton already, but that's besides the point. At least I didn't have to walk in it until Sunday morning. *grumbles*
Saturday was just bad. Of course, if there is a reason to celebrate, people go out and celebrate in drunken glory. Add on to the fact that we lost an hour of working that night, and only my manager knew about it while Crystal (who switched hours with Heather) and myself were in the dark and the fact that Crystal had only worked one midnight before and didn't know half of what she had to do. So, add that, people, and loosing an hour, and we ended up making up for the hour we lost on the clock. Plus a half an hour. And I did a very stupid thing and said yes to a midnight shift on Tuesday, because no one knows how to do schedules in that damn store.
Lets put only one crew person on Tuesdays, instead of looking at who has the availability and allowing them to come in for one night a week. That would be smart and wouldn't screw over our crew and managers completely. Oh, and even though sales show we can put the third person back on Fridays and Saturdays, lets not do it. Because we like to watch the midnights bust ass and try to get out of there at least by seven. Yah, thanks a lot asshats. And then seriously wonder why we're getting overtime and bitching about it constantly.
Oh, I don't know, because you're dumbasses and refuse to schedule more people. And don't ask what I'm still doing work when it's 45 minutes after I'm supposed to be off. It only makes me wish even more death on you, Helen. Oops. Tried to keep that anonymous. Silly me.\
Monday Update
Did the check thing today, and as usual, got some manga. X3 Also went up to Canton, to eat at this kick ass Chinese place, but found it either closed down or it was just closed for today. So, we ate at the place next door. It wasn't that good, but it was better than nothing. Hadn't had Chinese in forever, mostly because we don't have a car. The last time we all went out...was a very long time ago....actually, two days before the car got towed away...
*cough* Anyway, haven't been playing WOW much lately either, so I can't wait to get on and see all my rested X P. >:D Yes, I'm being random right now, mostly because I can afford to be. I'm a Level 26 druid cow on Doomhammer if anyone wants to run. Just be sure to tell me you're on my flist. I don't want to ignore anyone by accident. :P
I'm also open for betaing if anyone wants it. I'm doing Chis' NaNo at the moment (bastard finally gave it to me.) Seeing as my muse and I are still sorta staring at each other when it comes to my own stories, hopefully it'll inspire her.and maybe steal some ideas Just email me at darkdragonofthenever@gmail.com with the subject of 'beta' or something like that, and we'll chat.
Just be known I am prone to bouts of insanity. Then again, something you people already knew.

Brother=Dead
The bastard is not gonna like me when I go to my mom's on Thursday. It's the 11th right now and my mom has until the 25th to be moved out. It's all because of his drug conviction that they're being evicted, so my birthday present is going over there and helping them pack. I remember almost being evicted many times in my life, but we always had a plan. Mom doesn't seem to have one right now, and she's trying to get someplace to move in to that's affordable, but in this economy, it's not looking so good.
I'm ready to put up 200 a month if it'll help out and allow her to move somewhere. Whether she takes it or not is still up in the air. I have never regretted moving out as much as I am right now, mostly because I feel powerless to help her. I'm sure everything will work out but still...
I can't wait until I'm 21. 20 has just sucked royally. *raises cup of orange juice* Here's to putting this year behind me!

Oooh! RH + 5 has just finished downloading so I'm gonna go watch it. >:D
