The Dragon Within

It's been awhile and for once, I'm not "OMFG DEPRESSED" or "OMFG RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE" and just sort of...pleasant to say the least. Also, need to get more icons. :/ I went through my photobucket and figured that I don't have enough of my current fandoms. At all. I need to fix that and get more GW ones...because I never have enough GW icons. never.

In other news, the car's fixed. YES. Sorta. The back tire still has a "flat" but I think all of them just need some air in them, since I don't remember when the last time we put air into the tires. Oh, and who else remembers when air at gas stations were free and not a damn quarter? You used to just hit a button and get air but now it's like....you have to pay for it. Sometimes I think I should just invest in a bike pump and get air that way. It sure as hell wouldn't hurt and it would pay for itself eventually.

Also was able to access my desktop from my laptop again. I took the password off back in October since my roommate's mom was cat-sitting for us that weekend and it was in case she just wanted to use the computer...and I never turned it back on until like...yesterday. So now I have all my music back instead of just what I have on my laptop. Which means I found some songs that I forgot I downloaded/missed over the past few months. Like all my Lemon Demon. X3

Oh! And I finally ordered/received/reading and enjoying Hitler Victorious, which is a book I've been wanting to read since like, high school. It's about if the Axis won WWII and what would happen to Europe/America in 11 short stories. It's actually pretty interesting so far, that an I love alt history stories. It did make my roommates raise their eyebrows at me though and said that I was too obsessed with Hetalia like that was the reason that I bought the book...which really isn't.... Oh well.

That's pretty much it. Been going through Lucky Dog 1 and...getting a lot of game overs. I'm kinda surprised that I can't even seem to find a Japanese play through guide to like...have badly translated due to GoogleTranslate not being the greatest thing in the world to use... I just want some of the good endings instead of all the game overs, although I am proud of myself. Only got the main character raped once so...that should count worth something. I think. I hope.

Thanks all for your get well wishes! I'm not 100% yet, but I'm slowly getting there. I think the worst of it is over...hopefully. I've been laying down all day so I don't know if I'll still get dizzy or not if I'm standing up for long periods of time....oh well.

So, cleaning my apartment, or taking a break from it anyway. Mostly since everything that can be done right now is and just waiting on Crystal to get back with the shampooer. So our carpet can stop looking like a Kaleidoscope. So wasting time with the internet and watching Buffy. Evil Willow = MASS LOVE.

Also, recently put my journal back on public because I can. And I can't decide whether it should stay that way or not. So, instead of making a decision myself, HAVE A POLL. 8D

sorta tired but not really psycho

Got most of the kitchen done last night, but none of the trash out. :\ My ankle started to bother me about two so I had to call the cleaning quits and opted to watch this documentary on Russia's Czars instead. XD And then found out that there's going to be one on how the US states got their shapes, so I'm hoping I'll be home to catch that, because that sounds really interesting.

Been practicing with my tablet tonight, although nothing really came out. Have a few cool concepts for art to try out on a later date, but nothing really OMG MUST SHOW OFF/FINISH THIS!! worthy.

Going shopping for stuff for Cedar Point tomorrow. Put in the hotel reservation tonight because my friend and I are going right after she gets off work (she works midnights too) so we decided we'd better just get a hotel for the night so that we come back to Michigan alive. Would be nice right? And she might let me drive which...uh...haven't been behind the wheel in 3 years...so we'll see about that. I doubt she will but she keeps mentioning it so I'm not so sure. I really hope not. I don't want anything to happen to us/the car, because knowing my luck, something will.

I'M ACTUALLY GOING TO GET SOME SUNLIGHT TOMORROW!! It's such a shock! I think the last time I was going to get this much sunlight was last year when we all went to the Renaissance festival. I don't remember if it was last September or August, but I know it was awhile ago. I just can't wait to ride all the roller coasters! Like the Gemini. Every time I go I end up riding that thing like, 7 times. And the Corkscrew and Millennium Force and Top-Thrill Dragster and The Power Tower and... I'll just stop. XD I've been looking forward to this all month so I'm really excited about it!!

I actually have more than a paragraph's worth of crap to talk about! This hasn't happened in a very long time! I'm happy that I finally have stuff to talk about...sorta. Well, more than the past few days so that has to count for something!

First off, welcome to all you new people I added tonight!!! I really hope we become good friends! Don't get too bored...I'll try to make things interesting. X3

Secondly, kinda nervous about the next two weeks coming up. My roommates leave for Maine Monday at some point...which means I'm alone in the apartment with the cats for 2 weeks. :\ I'm just nervous that I'll end up breaking something/needing them for something and we'll just have no way of contacting each other. Maybe I'll have them get a pre-paid phone or something like that...mostly because I do NOT like the idea of not being able to contact them like, at all.

Speaking of that, got the fridge cleaned out for stocking up with food for me for the next two weeks. There's no way in Hell that I'm going to be able to walk for food with the way my ankle's been behaving, so we decided to go shopping and I'll get actual food. XD God no wonder I'm a fatty. At least I'm trying to change that little by little, although the next two weeks are sure to help that.

Also, thinking really, really, really hard about buying another tablet, since my record for them breaking on me is 2-2. If I do end up getting one, it will be this one. Best Buy sells it for about 100 bucks cheaper and it'll be like my pretty medium that's basically as useful as a place mat right now. :\ I just...don't even know. Do I really want to take another chance on buying one or should I just give into the fact that fate does not want me to do digital art?

So, last night at work was...interesting. Two new people in the grill and neither of them strong/knowing breakfast. So, I ended up finishing a lot of work because I was tired of hearing 'can I go yet?' every two minutes after I'd tell them to do something.
